A CHURCH in Ukraine has been reduced to rubble in the aftermath of ongoing war in the country.
Much of the building of the St. George's Hermitage of the Holy Dormition church in Sviatohirsk was reduced to piles of rubble.
On Sunday (May 8) a Ukrainian soldier posted a video on social media showing damage to the St. George's Hermitage of the Holy Dormition in Sviatohirsk.
The location was verified through the buildings and bell seen in the video, which matched the street view and satellite photography.
Local media said the church was first struck on May 4 before being destroyed on May 8.
