Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin reported this at a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center - Ukrinform
"Generally speaking, 6,093 civilian objects have been damaged or destroyed due to Russian shelling in the region," Prokudin said.
In particular, he said, these are 4,210 residential buildings and 203 educational institutions.
Prokudin assessed the humanitarian situation in the de-occupied territory of the region as "of medium complexity" and emphasized that the population is provided with food.
Prokudin also noted that 32 thousand hectares have been demined (humanitarian demining) in the de-occupied territory. Currently, 15,000 children are living there.
On the territory liberated from the enemy, work is underway daily to restore communications and critical infrastructure, and 154 out of 228 settlements have electricity, although on the first day of de-occupation "it was zero." In total, almost 189,000 subscribers have already been connected to the network, which is 85% of the total, Prokudin added.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated the right-bank part of Kherson region, including the city of Kherson. Part of the region, located on the left bank of the Dnipro River, was temporarily captured by Russian troops.
