Russian troops focus on attempting to surround the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the area of Lysychansk – General Staff

In Donbas, the enemy focuses its main efforts in the Lysychansk direction and is attempting to surround the Ukrainian troops.

This was reported during the morning briefing of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

“The enemy conducted the shelling near Vovchoyarivka, Loskutivka, Bila Hora, Verkhniokamyanka, Vuymka, Verkhniokamyansky, and Zolotarivka,” the message said.

Also, the invaders committed an aviation strike by two Su-25s near the settlement Bila Hora.

Serhiy Haidai, Head of the Luhansk region reports that Lysychansk was significantly damaged resulting from the hostilities.

“There is a TV tower lying on the ground, a road bridge that is seriously damaged. The shells are hitting the residential houses, the building of the Security Service of Ukraine, etc.,” Serhiy Haidai wrote.

In the Sloviansk direction, the main efforts of the enemy are focused on conducting the offensive in the directions of the settlements of Dovhenke and Mazanivka.

At the same time, in the Avdiivske, Kurakhiv, Novopavlivske, and Zaporizhzhia directions, the invaders carry out combat operations to forge our troops and prevent their deployment to the burning directions.
