Ukrainian defense forces have lost control over Metiolkine village near Sievierodonetsk.
The Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai reported about it.
The enemy has intensified artillery fire and airstrikes in the Luhansk Region.
“The enemy used dozens of vehicles to break through. Unfortunately, we currently have no control over Metiolkine. The enemy continues to build up reserves and slowly crawls trying to break through defense lines,” he said on the national telethon.
The Russians are ruthlessly shelling Sievierodonetsk’s industrial zone and the outskirts.
According to the Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, a similar situation is in the Toshkivka and Ustynivka districts, where the invaders seek to gain a breakthrough. For this purpose, they have gathered a large amount of machinery there.
Battles continue in many villages around Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk.
The Russian invaders continue to use “crawling” tactics, destroying the Luhansk Region with all the weapons at their disposal, Haidai said.
Ukrainian servicemen on armored vehicles evacuate civilians from settlements in the combat zone.
Recently, the soldiers of the 40th Artillery Brigade named after Lithuanian Grand Duke Vytautas the Great demonstrated their treatment of the enemy equipment.
