Numerous reports on social media suggest a respected war reporter has been killed in combat.
Oleksandr Makhov, 36, died in shelling near Izium in eastern Ukraine.
The reporter had worked for Ukrainian TV channel Telekanal Dom but was fighting with Ukrainian forces, having previously fought in the Donbas region.
In a Facebook post just days before his death, he revealed he was due to get married.
He shared a picture of his bloodied arm, saying his wounds would heal before the wedding.
