RUSSIAN troops have annihilated a Ukrainian aid convoy, killing five including a student whose body was left charred on the roadside.
Four more were injured when the five-car convoy carrying food in exchange for evacuees was hit just outside the besieged city of Chernihiv.
Anastasia Tagirov, a 19-year-old education student, was instantly killed when a barrage of Russian artillery rained upon the peaceful convoy on Wednesday.
The bombardment was so intense it is said to have propelled her body out of the vehicle and onto the roadside where it was left charred.
Anastasia's university announced her death in a gutwrenching Facebook post.
"On March 30, 2022, when she was carrying humanitarian aid to Chernihiv, her cars were shot at the intersection before going to the city," the post read.
"The university collective deeply misses and sympathizes with the family and loved ones of Nastia.
"They are convinced that the culprits will surely be punished."
It added: "We will always remember our good and beautiful girl."
Distressing footage shows the aftermath of the attack, which saw five cars bombed and a second victim evacuated and later die in hospital, according to local sources.
The video shows the bombed-out convoy and a man can be heard speaking in utter disbelief as he tried to make out whether it was his friend's body laying burnt out on the floor.
Smoke can be seen billowing out of four vehicle that were exchanging food for evacuees.
It comes heartless Russian troops bombed a humanitarian convoy entering Chernihiv, according to RTE.
Russian forced had announced it was "drastically" withdrawing troops from Kyiv and Chernihiv but many Ukrainian defenders despute this, saying that attacks have intensified.
"Five buses came under direct fire from the enemy as they tried to get to the surrounded city to evacuate people," Ukraine's ombudswoman Lyudmyla Denisova said on Telegram.
"There were only civilian volunteers on the buses. As a result of the shelling, one person is dead, four were gravely injured."
Denisova said Vladimir Putin's forces were "denying any chance of evacuating peaceful citizens from besieged Chernihiv" and "holding tens of thousands of people hostage without food, water or heat".
She said Russian troops were continuously shelling residential areas.
Chernihiv, a city of 280,000 people, has seen intense fighting since the war broke out over a month ago.
The city's mayor, Vladyslav Atroshchenko, said 350 people, mostly civilians, had perished since February 24.
It comes as reports emerges of Russian troops looting Ukrainian villages and abusing innocent civilians.

In the call, a Russian soldier can be heard discussing the vile behaviour of his comrades in Vladimir Putin’s invasion army with a woman
In the call they he says that “three tank crew” had “raped a girl” to which the woman replies “who?” and he then repeats the claim.
The shocked woman simply replies “f***” when she hears confirmation of what happened.
Ukraine’s prosecutor general recently alleged that Russian soldiers were using rape as an "instrument of war" during its invasion.
It comes as the Ukrainian Defence Ministry said that Russian forces had killed 148 children, fired 1,370 missiles and destroyed 15 Ukrainian airports since the start of the invasion.
